No. They are static QR codes: the link or text is stored in the code itself, so they work as long as the content is valid, without any account or subscription.
How do I share my Wi-Fi with a QR code?

Which error correction level should I use?
Medium suits most uses. Choose High if the code may get dirty or damaged, or if you want to place a small logo over it; the code gets denser as the level rises.
