Frequently asked questions
Which format should I choose?
MP4 plays everywhere: phones, computers, TVs and websites. Choose WebM for websites that prefer open formats, MOV for Apple editing apps, MKV to keep all streams as they are, and AVI only for old players.
Will the quality get worse?
Not when the streams can simply be copied into the new container, which is often the case for MOV, MKV and MP4. Otherwise the video is re-encoded at high quality, and the difference is hard to see.
Can I convert several videos at once?
