How do I crop a photo to a square?
Choose 1:1 as the aspect ratio. The largest possible square is selected in the middle; drag it to the part you want to keep and click Crop.
Does cropping reduce the image quality?
The pixels you keep are not resized. JPG and WebP are saved again at high quality (92%), which is visually identical; PNG is lossless.
Can I crop to an exact size in pixels?
Yes. Type the width, height and position of the selection in pixels below the image. With an aspect ratio selected, the other side follows automatically.
