Compress video files online

Make videos smaller for email, WhatsApp, Discord or the web. Choose the compression level and resolution — free, with no upload and no watermark.

Compression

Recommended: usually 50–80% smaller and still looks good.

Resolution

Lowering the resolution shrinks the file the most. 720p looks sharp on phones and laptops.

MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV, AVI, WMV, FLV, 3GP, MPEG, GIF and more · up to 1 GB per file

The video engine (about 30 MB) is downloaded once and then cached. Your videos never leave your device; long or HD videos can take a few minutes.

How it works

  1. 1

    Add your video

Drop the file onto the page, paste it, or click to choose. Nothing is uploaded — the video is read directly from your device.

  2. 2

    Choose the settings

Pick the format, quality or range you need. The sensible defaults work for most videos.

  3. 3

    Download the result

Processing happens in your browser. When it is done, save the new file — or all files together as a ZIP.

Why PixNudge

Your videos stay private

Family clips, screen recordings and work videos never leave your device. There is no server copy to leak or delete.

Free, no watermark

No account, no watermark, no daily limits and no waiting queue. Only your device's memory sets the limit.

Fast when possible

When the streams already fit the target format they are copied without re-encoding: done in seconds with zero quality loss.

Frequently asked questions

How much smaller will my video get?

Phone videos usually shrink by 50–80% with the Balanced setting. Lowering the resolution to 720p or 480p saves even more. Videos that are already strongly compressed shrink less.

Which settings should I use for WhatsApp or email?

Choose Strong compression and 480p or 720p. A one-minute clip then usually ends up well under 16 MB, small enough for most chat apps and email attachments.

What format is the compressed video?

MP4 with H.264 video and AAC audio, the most compatible combination. It plays on every phone, computer and website.
