How are differences shown?
The unified view lists both texts as one, with removed lines in red and added lines in green, and the line numbers of both versions. The side-by-side view puts the texts next to each other and also highlights changed characters within a line.
Can I ignore changes in spacing or capitalization?
Yes. In the unified view, Ignore whitespace treats lines that differ only in spaces or tabs as equal, and Ignore case treats upper and lower case as the same.
Is it safe to compare confidential documents?
Yes. The comparison runs entirely in your browser, and neither text is uploaded or stored.
