Choose a video

MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV, AVI, WMV, FLV, 3GP, MPEG, GIF and more · up to 1 GB per file

The video engine (about 30 MB) is downloaded once and then cached. Your videos never leave your device; long or HD videos can take a few minutes.

How it works

  1. 1

    Add your video

Drop the file onto the page, paste it, or click to choose. Nothing is uploaded — the video is read directly from your device.

  2. 2

    Choose the settings

Pick the format, quality or range you need. The sensible defaults work for most videos.

  3. 3

    Download the result

Processing happens in your browser. When it is done, save the new file — or all files together as a ZIP.

Why PixNudge

Your videos stay private

Family clips, screen recordings and work videos never leave your device. There is no server copy to leak or delete.

Free, no watermark

No account, no watermark, no daily limits and no waiting queue. Only your device's memory sets the limit.

Fast when possible

When the streams already fit the target format they are copied without re-encoding: done in seconds with zero quality loss.

Frequently asked questions

How do I make a GIF from a video?

Open the video, choose where the GIF starts and ends (up to 30 seconds), pick a frame rate and width, then click Create GIF. A preview appears before you download it.

How can I make the GIF smaller?

Use a shorter clip, a smaller width and a lower frame rate. A 5-second GIF at 480 px and 12 fps is usually 1–4 MB; the same clip at full size can be ten times larger.

Why do the colors look good?

GIFs can only hold 256 colors. PixNudge builds an optimized palette for every clip and uses dithering, so gradients and skin tones look smooth.
