Frequently asked questions

How do I crop a PDF?

Open the PDF, drag the handles of the crop box on the preview or type the margins, choose the pages and click Crop PDF.

Can the margins be detected automatically?

Yes. Detect white margins finds the empty border around the content of the previewed page and sets the crop box to fit it.

Is the cropped content deleted?

The pages are cropped by changing their visible area, as in Acrobat. The content outside is hidden in every viewer but still present in the file; use Redact PDF to remove sensitive content.
