Frequently asked questions

How do I extract text from a PDF?

Open the PDF, choose the pages and click Extract text. Copy the result or download it as a TXT file.

Why is no text found?

Scanned PDFs contain images of text, not text. Run OCR first to recognize the text, then extract it.

Is the layout kept?

Line breaks are kept, but columns and tables become plain text. Use PDF to JPG if you need the exact look.
