How do I redact a PDF?
Open the PDF and drag black boxes over everything that must be hidden, on as many pages as needed. Click Apply redactions and download the result.
Is the hidden text really removed?
Yes. Pages with redactions are converted to images with the boxes burned in, so the text underneath no longer exists and cannot be copied or searched.
Can I still search the other pages?
Yes. Only pages that contain a redaction are converted; the other pages keep their selectable text.
