URL encoder and decoder
Percent-encode text for URLs and query strings, or decode %20-style escapes back to readable text. Also splits a URL into its parts and query parameters.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Encode and Encode full URL?
Encode escapes every character that has a special meaning in URLs, including / ? & = and #, which is what you need for a single query parameter value. Encode full URL keeps those characters so a complete address stays usable and only escapes spaces and other unsafe characters.
Should spaces become %20 or +?
In paths and most APIs a space is %20. HTML forms (application/x-www-form-urlencoded) encode spaces as +. Turn on the + option if you are building or reading form-encoded query strings.
Why does decoding fail with an error?
A % sign must be followed by two hexadecimal digits, and the bytes must form valid UTF-8. A lone % or a truncated sequence such as %E2%82 cannot be decoded; the error shows where the problem is.
